Description
This is a hike of extraordinary beauty, which allows us to discover a remote waterfall that is reached after trekking through a mysterious-looking forest.
The starting point is on the outskirts of Amecameca. From the parking lot (2,700 meters) we enter a lush and humid forest and after an hour of gentle ascent we reach an esplanade that marks the halfway point of the trail.
We enter the forest again, and on several occasions we must cross a stream walking on logs or stones. We advance through the center of a ravine, to our left and right rise high rock walls, and finally we reach a beautiful circular waterfall (hence the name "bubble", English for Burbuja).
We refresh ourselves in this magical place, eat something light, take the typical photos, and start our return. In less than two hours we arrive at the parking lot, and two hours later we will be back in Mexico City.
